Oh, we have never anticipated spring like this before! It was a long, dark, coooold winter but springtime has arrived and the sun-breaks and roadside daffodils are leaving us rhapsodic.
Fishing season has just begun, as well, and we must acquire that fishing license for Peter. Turn left out the gate, down past the miniature ponies (affectionately named Hoss and Voss), wave bonjour to Madame Lucienne, and at the creek you arrive. Perfect place for a young man to fish ... and a trailing sister to gather more daffodils ...
Normandy!!! I am actually going to France in about 3 weeks and I am debating on stopping by Normandy. There is so much history there. And your pictures are gorgeous! What brought you guys to France? Are you originally from the states?

Hi, Samantha! Springtime in Normandy is lovely, I have to say. And yes, oodles of history. Honfleur (I have a post on it somewhere here) is a charming seaside town, too. From the States, yes!
DeleteYay! I'm glad you're seeing some sunshine and warmth. Get that boy a license! :)
ReplyDeleteThanks, Farrah! Managed to get one today! Hurrah!
DeleteAnna~ Just catching up on your blog. LOVE the daffodil pictures! It's been a looooong, strangely warm winter here, with lots of sickness in our family and I am a tired mom. Praying that you are continuing to feel encouraged. Numbers 13,14 are chapters that I've been camping out on lately. Yes, there ARE giants in the land, but we must keep our eyes on our God who has done miracles for us in the past and will do them again if we wait on Him!
