Ever notice how once you work up the gumption to start one project, they seem to propagate like crazy? Since the paint brushes are being put to work and the tarps are out for the never-ending staircase project, why not also paint a bench, some stools, a (birthday) desk for Jane and ...
... these stellar pair of chairs found on Craigslist. Isn't that teal velvet divine? I'm taping off the freshly steam-cleaned upholstery and prepping the wood and wicker for a modern coat of light dove gray. I'll keep you posted ...
Love the chairs! I think the dove gray will be a very nice choice. Don't you think Craigslist is the greatest? I'll be sandblasting and repainting a patio set that we bought from there. Have fun with your projects :)
ReplyDeleteLOVE THE CHAIR! Up close it looks a lot like one I bought at the thrift store. However, your upholstery is a much nicer color and in way better shape! I can't wait to see the dove gray. It's going to look so good.
ReplyDeleteDelish! I was just looking at some Whiteberry furniture projects yesterday; your chairs are similar to one that she is selling for $420! I can't wait to see the finished product, I love gray.
ReplyDeletewhere will your special find go in the house??
ReplyDeleteVery daring! I'd be paranoid about messing up the lovely chair, but I think your chair will turn out great. I've been thinking about spray painting our fading metal patio furniture some fun colors.
